Endless genealogies and fables. Focusing on confusion rather than clarity. Building a foundation on Christ. Discovering the source of revelation. Apostasy in the last days. Putting ourself before God.
I truly appreciate your comments this week, especially about how we approach others who have questions. It was made very plain to me that I unfortunately used a great deal of manipulation when teaching my children. I never realized that I did that, because I only followed how my older siblings and my parents taught…by the book was the only way. I had no idea how to help them realize for themselves by asking questions. What a great way to have them think back, and compare scripture with experience to help them find the right way to Christ!
