Thanks for your thoughts and prayers Jason! As always, great job this week! I particularly love the story of the wise men. The question that you guys asked never came into my mind before, “why did they go to Herod if they already knew where to find Jesus?” I think it has something to do with God’s grand plan. It’s very obvious that the wise men had the spirit with them and I think the spirit told them to talk with the king first. As you talked about, Herod’s downfall was a result of him slaughtering a bunch of kids. I’m sure there was many more effects of the wise men going to the king first.
