Learning For Those Who Love Learning
Education has become very specialized and focused and less rounded and balanced. While Isaac Newton made ground-breaking discoveries in math and science, he also wrote 79 articles about early church history and scripture interpretation. He studied Hebrew, Greek and Latin as well as Church History and Scriptures. Add On Education is meant to help provide otherwise overlooked courses to those who love learning.
Courses coming 2017-2018!
“The Hebrew language is the best language of all, with the richest vocabulary . . . . If I were younger I would want to learn this language, because no one can really understand the Scriptures without it. For although the New Testament is written in Greek, it is full of Hebraisms and Hebrew expressions. It has therefore been aptly said that the Hebrews drink from the spring, the Greeks from the stream that flows from it, and the Latins from a downstream pool.” - Martin Luther.
"Science can only be created by those who are thoroughly imbued with the aspiration toward truth and understanding. This source of feeling, however, springs from the sphere of religion."
"Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind." - Albert Einstein
"We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light."
"The very spring and root of honesty and virtue lie in good education."
